Where this forecast comes from. Open-Meteo, a free service with no account, which redistributes the models of national weather services — NOAA's among them. The point measured is the centre of the chosen city.

Times are local: those of the city you are looking at, not those of your watch if it is elsewhere. The line under the menu says which.

Refreshed every ten minutes. The server keeps the last answer and asks for nothing new for ten minutes: the weather model itself is only recomputed hourly. If the API does not answer, the previous forecast stays on screen with its age, rather than an empty page.

No forecast is stored. No file, no database: it lives in memory and vanishes when the service restarts. The only thing kept is a visit counter — a number, with no cookie and no address.

A three-day forecast gets things wrong: tomorrow's temperature to within about ±3 °F, rain far more roughly. The probabilities shown are the model's, not certainties.
